Against Me!’s Laura Jane Grace and Petrol Girls’ Ren Aldridge contribute to new book, Nasty Women
Against Me!’s Laura Jane Grace and Petrol Girls’ Ren Aldridge both feature in a new book titled Nasty Women, a collection of non-fiction on being a woman in the 21st century.

Topics covered across the book include being a woman of colour in Trump's America, sexual assault, punk as a vessel for change, contraception, family heritage, being a woman online, fetishisation, navigating queer identity, empowerment, the importance of naming, disability, role models and much more.

Laura Jane Grace talks to Sasha de Buyl-Pisco about her life in a band and as a trans woman in the public eye, while Ren Aldridge provides an essay on gendered violence in the punk community, Touch Me Again and I'll Fucking Kill You.

Published by 404 Ink, Nasty Women will be released on International Women's Day (8th March), with pre-orders available for a limited time via Kickstarter - pick up your copy here.
