Listen to Arcane Roots cover Muse
For ages, it looked like Arcane Roots had their eyes firmly set on the stadiums and arena crowns of Muse.

New album 'Melancholia Hymns' changed that, going for depth, complex emotion and gut instinct. That's not to say they've completely taken their eye off their old touring mates though. During their session for Radio 1 Rocks, that also saw them play 'Curtains', 'Indigo' and 'Off The Floor', the band took the Muse classic 'New Born' and gave it a firm shake.

Listen to it here (at the one hour, 48-minute mark).

“We were so lucky to share stages with those kinds of bands, but after the initial daydream of what I would do to be in that position and have that production, crew and access to stuff that we’ve only dreamt of, [our outlook shifted]. We’re getting older, and we’re not heartthrobs. We never will be. We’re not that kind of band; we never will be that kind of band," Andrew Groves told Upset recently.

And it's probably for the best, since Arcane Roots have never sounded better or more exciting. Want to see for yourself? Well, you're in luck as they've just announced a 2018 tour with Brutus (UK) and Jamie Lenman (Europe). Dates as follows.
