Fresh from releasing 'Mississippi
' and announcing a UK headline tour, Jamie Lenman
is back with another double batch of news.
First up, there's a killer new track 'Waterloo Road
' which you can check out below.
"I initially just wrote some nonsense lyrics to sing over the demo but when I listened back I realised they actually made a lot of sense about how I was feeling at the time - lots of subconscious imagery about grit and engines and trying to organise things...a song about stress! I'm really happy with the sound we got on this one, the glass breaking, the clanging pipes, the heavy chains. I can't wait to play it at the shows"
And part two of the news sandwich is that 'Waterloo Teeth' (along with 'Mississippi') will form part of exclusive tour 7" vinyl which is being released by Jamie's new home on Big Scary Monsters
(home of Beach Slang, Modern Baseball, Gnarwolves
and PWR BTTM
"I'm thrilled to be partnering with a label like BSM to bring you all my new material. They've got some great ideas and I can't think of a better home for it. Plus they're from where I grew up! Perfect!"
