Frank Iero has donated a signed, smashed guitar to an auction in aid of The Innocent Lives Foundation

Frank Iero has donated an old guitar to a charity auction in aid of The Innocent Lives Foundation.

The My Chemical Romance-era guitar is currently going for $1,502, with the auction ending on 8th December. Other notable auctions include contributions from Clutch (who are currently the highest-value lot, with a guitar running at $7,502), Foo Fighters, No Doubt, Slipknot and Thursday.

"This smashed guitar was donated by Frank Iero," reads the blurb. "Frank smashed it on stage then kept it in his vault for years as a memory. Frank has autographed it and donated it to ILF for this auction. If you are a fan of The Future Violents, MCR, Leathermouth or Pencey Prep, this is a must-have, one of a kind piece that you will want to own."

Check out all the auctions here, and find Frank in Upset's December 2019 / January 2020 issue, where he's taking part in our Albums of 2019 list.
