If you’re a regular reader of Upset - and why, I ask, would you not be? - you’ll know we’re fans of rock bands that try really hard to be more than just rock bands. Not that there’s anything ‘just’ about the louder arts, obviously, but Chase Atlantic have horizons that are both ambitious and far-reaching.
Their latest album, ‘Phases’, sees them explode into a universe that echoes some of the most invigorating, genre-fluid music on the planet. That’s why we were delighted to hop over to New York last month to catch them at a sell-out show and find out exactly where they’re heading for our latest cover.
It’s another rammed month elsewhere. There are new interviews with the mighty Sleeping With Sirens, Knocked Loose, Mallory Knox, Roam, The Murder Capital, Field Mouse, Cultdreams, Oso Oso, Black Futures and loads more. We’re previewing Reading & Leeds 2019 with the returning PVRIS and some of our other favourite bands playing the August blow out. We've reports from 'down the front' at 2000trees. There’s basically everything. Enjoy!
