Architects haven’t had it easy. While much will be written about the tragic circumstances that frame their new album, though, it isn’t the reason they deserve the attention they’re about to receive on a wider scale than ever before.
In ‘Holy Hell’, they’ve delivered a record which is capable of crossing divides. With a scene around them emboldened to hold the band up and make sure they get exactly what they’re due, they’re about to get the mainstream love they deserve. We’re delighted to welcome them to the cover of this month's new issue of Upset as they embark on a new chapter that could change everything.
They're fronting up an issue that, even by our usual rammed tight standards, is positively packed.
Don't believe us? We've got new interviews with (*deep breath*) IDKHow, Hellions, mewithoutYou, Basement, The Faim, Laura Jane Grace, Tom Morello, Stand Atlantic, Beartooth, Swearin', The Fever 333 and Cloud Nothings, amongst others.
Elsewhere we introduce you to Chase Atlantic in About To Break, have a look at the new Songs That Saved My Life compilation, find out everything we need to know about Atreyu's new album and get You Me At Six to delve deep into their back catalogue in Deep Cuts.
There's also reports from down the front with Twenty One Pilots, Biffy Clyro and Pale Waves, and more from the likes of Hands Like Houses, Mayday Parade, SHVPES. Bearings and Drug Church.
Like we told you. Packed. Order a copy of the new issue of Upset above, or subscribe here.
