As December comes around, it's time to start ranking and rating the past twelve months. While we all make our lists and check them twice, we're delighted to unveil our end of year bumper double edition, featuring our run down of the very best of 2018.
We're pulling together fifty of our favourite albums from the past year, and talking to some of the people behind them. From the masterful Black Peaks, to the mighty Boston Manor, the important punk fury of Idles and the fiery bite of Dream Wife, you'll find a who's who of 2018 rock royalty within. Add the likes of Black Foxxes, The Xcerts, As It Is, Waterparks, Muncie Girls and Against The Current too, and there's enough to keep us all warm until the other side of the festivities.
Elsewhere this month we introduce Sick Joy, Polish Club and Soer in About To Break, get all the important facts from Yonaka, chat to Can't Swim, Memphis May Fire and Palisades, check out The Bronx's tour essentials and find ourselves down the front for what might just be the end of Creeper. Sob sob.
The new issue of Upset is out on Friday 30th November. You can order a copy above, subscribe here, or pick up a copy from our usual stockists in record stores, bars, retail shops and venues around the UK.
