Watch FIDLAR’s video of the year contender ’40oz On Repeat’

Fuck it dog, life’s a risk. But not if you’re FIDLAR. The LA punx are back with a new track – ‘40oz On Repeat’ – taken from a new album ‘Too’ – and (spoiler alert) it’s 10/10 amazing.

The band, who have sold out a one off show at London’s Heaven later this month, return with their Jay Joyce produced second album on September 4th, after playing the main stage at Reading & Leeds 2015.

“We could have made record number one again… but instead we decided to challenge ourselves and admit that we don’t know everything,” said guitarist and lead vocalist Zac Carper. “Up until this point we had recorded everything ourselves, so working with a producer taught us so much. I didn’t want to make a standard rock record. The goal for this album was to think outside the box and I think Jay really helped us do that.”

The video for ‘40oz On Repeat’ is something else. Ripping off other classic music videos on a Be Kind Rewind tribute style, the clip features takes on Weezer, Beastie Boys, KORN and… erm… Britney. Check it out below.

And in case you were wondering, the tracks they’re… inspired by, in order, are:

Sugar Ray – Fly
Suicidal Tendencies – Institutionalized
Missy Elliott – The Rain (Supa Dupa Fly)
Devo – Jocko Homo
Weezer – Undone — The Sweater Song
Eminem – The Real Slim Shady
The Beastie Boys – (You Gotta) Fight For Your Right (To Party!)
Jamiroquai – Virtual Insanity
The Hives – Walk Idiot Walk
