Watch Enter Shikari play an acoustic set in an abandoned theatre

With Enter Shikari‘s huge arena shows coming up, they took to an abandoned theatre at Alexandra Palace to play a short acoustic set and talk about the tour. Watch it below.

“It’s difficult to summon the words, we’re inexpressibly excited for these shows!” explained frontman Rou Reynolds when the tour was announced.

“Before booking an ‘arena-sized’ tour we wanted to wait until we were able to book as many ‘flat-floored’ standing venues as possible up and down the UK, as there’s nothing rock ’n’ roll about sitting at a gig 100 meters from the stage. As much as is possible, these venues should feel like normal Shikari shows but swollen in size – the communal aspect of the shows should still stay intact.”

Support comes from The Wonder Years and a recently reformed The King Blues. The full list of dates is as follows.

19 Edinburgh, Corn Exchange
