Watch Deryck Whibley’s live return with The Happiness Machine

It’s been over two years since Deryck Whibley has performed on stage but backed by The Happiness Machine, he took to California’s Constellation Room on July 3rd for a triumphant return.
The tour, billed as Deryck Whibley and The Happiness Machine playing Sum 41 songs, is a short three-date warmup ahead of Sum 41’s appearance at the 2015 Alt Press Music Awards but it’s not just Deryck who’s making his live return through it.

Apart from a brief cameo with his brother Gerard in Tokoyo, this is the first time Mikey Way has performed onstage since the final My Chemical Romance show at Bamboozle festival in 2012.

Hopefully this is the first of many appearances from the pair.
Watch the band close the set with a ‘fresh as the day it was released’ rendition of ‘Fat Lip.’
