Tellison announce new album, single, video and tour

Tellison are great. Everyone loves Tellison. Any day where Tellison announce details of a new album is a good day.

Mark the calendar, then, because today is ALL CAPS, red letter, exclamation point amazing. Not only have the band confirmed details of their third full-length, but dropped a new song, a video for it, and a tour.

A tour which we’re helping bring you. Because we’re also great. Go us.

‘Hope Fading Nightly’ is the band’s first album through new label Alcopop! Records, and will be released on 18th September. It comes alongside a new single, ‘Boy’, which will come alongside ‘sombre’ b-side ‘Epi’ – recorded during the album sessions.

The single will be released on Instax instant photographs, mounted on Tellison postcards, containing a link to a free download. Every photograph, and thus every single, will be unique and unrepeatable – with the images taken by the band over a couple of months from their recent tour to the shooting of the ‘Boy’ video.

You can watch that video below.

That tour, in association with Upset, kicks off on 19th September in Southampton, calling off in Brighton, Cardiff, Hull, Liverpool, Leicester, Bournemouth, Norwich and London. There’s also news of a special release date show to come.
