Here’s Taylor Swift lip-syncing to Jimmy Eat World’s ‘The Middle’

Apple used to advertise with dancing silhouettes and colourful backgrounds but recently they’ve taken a different approach. Following on from the Taylor Swift Falls Down While On The Treadmill video, Apple Music have unveiled Taylor Swift Sings Along To Jimmy Eat World’s ‘The Middle’ As She Gets Ready To Go Out.

We won’t spoil what happens in the advert but prepare yourself for Taylor Swift, Jimmy Eat World’s ‘The Middle’ and someone getting ready to go out.

Taylor has been very vocal about her love for this track telling Rolling Stone, “I remember listening to this on the bus to school. I felt comforted by it, because I never felt like I really fit perfectly into any clique at school. I wish every kid who goes through those same feelings of loneliness could hear how Jim Adkins sings, “Don’t you worry what they tell themselves when you’re away.”

This isn’t the first time Swiftie has taken on the Jimmy Eat World classic though. Back in 2011 Taylor invited JEW’s vocalist/guitarist Jim Adkins to join her on stage in Arizona to take on the track. There’s less dancing but more guitar.

To readdress the balance, here’s Jimmy Eat World covering ‘We Are Never Getting Back Together’.
