Canadian quartet Fist City have released the video for their track ‘End Of The Good Times’, and announced details of a UK tour that’ll kick off later this month following their appearance at What Became of Us Festival in Leicester.
‘End Of The Good Times’ will feature on a single due on 13th November, with AA side ‘Let’s Rip’. It’s taken from the band’s recent second album, ‘Everything Is A Mess’ which was recorded at Steve Albini’s Electrical Audio Studio in Chicago.
“While ‘Let’s Rip’ is a tune about finding your partner in crime, the kind of partner in crime that gives you stick and poke tattoos and tries to fight you in an alley sometimes,” says guitarist Evan Van Reekum.
“‘End Of The Good Times’ is about smashing your car into a wall in the middle of the night, throwing the keys into a gutter and leaving the steaming pile of shit behind. I guess it’s about getting older.”
