Enter Shikari release cosmic new video for ‘Redshift’

Enter Shikari have released a video for their surprise single ‘Redshift’, released earlier this week after a play on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show.

“Redshift is a song about bloody good luck! On the grandest of scales! Literally!” says vocalist Rou Reynolds.

“Our universe is expanding faster and faster and a few trillion years from now, everything will have sped away from us so fast that all we would see when looking out from Earth is empty space.

“We would deduce that we were totally alone in the universe. A lost sheep. The last and only biscuit in the tin.”

The song – and new clip – comes ahead of the band’s UK tour with The Wonder Years and The King Blues, tickets for which are on sale now.

The tour will kick off on 18th February in Glasgow, culminating with a massive show at London’s Alexandra Palace. Full dates after the jump.

Enter Shikari’s UK tour runs:

18 Glasgow, O2 Academy
19 Edinburgh, Corn Exchange
20 Nottingham, Capital FM Arena
22 Bournemouth, International Centre
23 Cardiff, Motorpoint Arena
25 Manchester, Victoria Warehouse
27 London, Alexandra Palace
