Doe share tasty new video for ‘Sincere’

Doe recently announced details of their debut album, ‘Some Things Last Longer than You’: the full-length will be released on 9th September via Specialist Subject (UK) and Old Flame (US).

The trio – Nicola Leel (guitar, vocals), Jake Popyura (drums, vocals) and Dean Smitten (guitar) – have now released a video for preview track ‘Sincere’ – watch the clip below.

“’Sincere’ was one of the first songs we wrote for the album and the process spanned a strange time for us as a band,” says Nicola. “Lyrically, it’s super honest and is about the frustration of being continually undermined by someone who’s pulling the wool over people’s eyes. When we wrote the song I was feeling particularly pissed off at dudes trying to explain my own experiences to me under the guise of good intention.

“A lot of the themes on the album centre around not taking shit from anyone and although it’s quite scathing in places, it’s musically playful and has a wry charm (I think). We can’t bloody wait to play all the songs live to hopefully more than three people.”
