Desaparecidos reveal animated video for ‘Golden Parachutes’

Desaparecidos – seemingly forever to be better known by the longhand of Conor ‘Bright Eyes’ Oberst’s punk band – have dropped a new video from their first album in 13 years, ‘Payola’.

Released earlier this year, the full-length made the cut as one of our Best Albums of 2015.

The animated clip for ‘Golden Parachutes’ was directed by Luke and Joe McGarry, and features a trip through history – including the Salem witch trials, the Boston Tea Party, an 1860s New York City protest, the Triangle factory fire, Kent State, and Occupy Wall Street – with the band picked off one by one.
