Demob Happy unveil new video for ‘Wash It Down’

Ahead of the release of their new single, Demob Happy have revealed their new video for ‘Wash It Down’ – and you can check out out first on Upset.

Accompanying the track, which is the first cut to be taken from the band’s forthcoming debut album, the new video was put together by Katia Ganfield and sees their chugging guitars matched with colourful psychedelic clips, which melt together with images of the band themselves.

Speaking of the concept for the clip, the band’s frontman Matt Marcantonio has offered up quite the statement. “It’s about some cosmic lizard wizards brewing up Dream Soda syrup,” he says, “as the televisual sex machine sedates our frontal lobes.” Err, okay…

Have a first watch of Demob Happy’s new video below. ‘Wash It Down’ gets released on 14th August via SO Recordings.

The band’s forthcoming tour dates are as follows.

15 Platzhirsch Festival, Duisburg, Germany

05 The Clapham Grand, London w/ UNKLE
23 Loppen, Copenhagen, Denmark

22 Stroomhuis, Eindhoven, The Netherlands
24 Let’s Get Lost Festival, Zwolle, Netherlands
