The new single from We Came From Wolves, ‘Places Unfamiliar’ lands on 4th November via Vadana Records – and you can watch the video for it below, first on Upset. It’s a massive, heartfelt song, made for belting out at live shows.
“This track is a really important one in the life of our band,” frontman Kyle Burgess explains, “we’ve gotten straight to the point and cut out any unnecessary bullshit, which in turn has delivered our best, and most honest material to date, we wanted the video to do the same.
“Depicting the literal, lyrical narrative of the song, the filming captures life either dragging by in half time slow motion, or whizzing past me in double speed.
“When not immersed in music, music to me is more than a passion. It’s like a drug, or some sort of defect where I feel real periods of darkness when I’m removed from it. It’s like I have this need to be fully consumed by being creative, or I feel useless and of no worth.
“The video tries to show this with the changes in the speed of time, mixed with the normal speed when we are performing… straight and to the point… just like the song.”
