Yearbook announce London charity show

Fresh from releasing their warehouse sessions, Yearbook have announced details of a stacked London show in support of Stonewall, “which is Britain’s leading charity for lesbian, gay, bi and trans equality, working to create a world where every single person can be accepted without exception.”

Joining Yearbook will be Nervus, Wallflower and Tellison‘s Stephen Davidson which is a very lovely evening by anyone’s standards.

“As a band we really believe in the value of equality and we think that Stonewall is one of the best organisations working to bring about lasting social change for the LGBTQ community,” explains Yearbook’s Andy. “We feel that given the recent shifts in the global political climate, now is a good time to increase our support for such a worthy cause.”

“This show is important to us as we still live in a world where ignorance can still be the cause and rationalization of being murdered just for the person you are. It’s about sending a message to those feeling isolated from humanity that they are not alone and they are worth something, we are all equal,” states Vini from Wallflower while Em from Nervus adds, “Since Stonewall became trans inclusive in 2015 it’s now more important than ever to support them, so that the trans community can also feel the benefits of the great work Stonewall has done for marginalised groups over the years”

“Stonewall’s motto is “acceptance without exception” and that’s something I’d champion to the ends of the earth,” offers Stephen Davidson. “They’re for tolerance, change for the better and inclusivity and that’s why it’s a pleasure and an honour to work in a small way to support them.”

So that’s the evening of August 17th sorted. See you at The Monarch in Camden.
