The World Is A Beautiful Place re-record debut EP for new 12”

The World Is A Beautiful Place have re-recorded their debut EP ‘Formlessness’ for release on a new 12”, to reflect how the songs have evolved since they were first released.

“We’ve talked about this project for quite a while but it has finally come together,” the band explain. “Six years ago we released our first EP ‘Formlessness’ via bandcamp. It was recorded in my basement with pretty much one microphone and a very limited knowledge on how to actually record music.

“Throughout the years of line up changes and our tendency to improv and evolve our songs live these four songs have changed quite a bit. We have spent over a year re-recording ‘Formlessness’ to reflect how the songs have changed.”

The A-side of the 12” will hold a mastered version of the original EP, while the B-side will feature ‘Formlessness 2016’: the newly recorded version. Pre-order your copy here.

It’ll also be released digitally, for free via bandcamp, on 20th August.
