Warped Tour considers 2016 age limit

Despite Warped Tour packing up its boxes only last week, the anticipation for next year’s event is already sky-high.

Festival founder and producer Kevin Lyman recently let slip that he’s planning a major change for Warped Tour 2016 and is considering an age-limit for artists and crew.

“Next year, we’re going to have no kids on this tour,” Lyman told The Stranger. “It’s going to be really tough if you want to be on this tour and are 21 and under. Whether it’s the artist, crew… anyone.”

The potential change follows a string of allegations and controversies that have plagued the 2015 event.

Although theres no news on whether the rules will be implemented yet, organisers did reveal the announcement timeline on Instagram.

Posting up two snaps, the full routing will be announced in December. This will be followed by the tour’s lineup which will be coming in March.
