The Manchester Orchestra soundtracked ‘Swiss Army Man’ is now an award winning movie

It’s the gift that keeps on giving. The Manchester Orchestra soundtracked film ‘Swiss Army Man‘ has seen directors Daniel Scheinert and Daniel Kwan take home U.S. Dramatic directing honors from the Sundance Film Festival

The rights for the film were acquired by A24, the company behind the release of ‘Amy’, who are looking to release the film in North America this summer.

‘Swiss Army Man’ is “a story about a suicidal man who must convince a dead body that life is worth living,” and, in one much talked about scene, Paul Dano rides the farting corpse of Daniel Radcliffe like a jet ski across the ocean in a bid for freedom. Yup.

The film’s score was written by Manchester Orchestra’s Andy Hull and Robert McDowell.
