Sum 41 sign to Hopeless Records, new album coming soon

Sum 41 have been working on a new album for a while – and they’ve just announced they’ve signed to Hopeless Records for the release.

The follow up to 2011’s ‘Screaming Bloody Murder’, it will be their first since frontman Deryck Whibley’s stint in hospital a little over a year ago

“It’s crazy to think that we started this band 20 years ago and so much has happened, and it all happened really fast,” says frontman Deryck Whibley. “When I look back at everything it still feels like it’s all so recent.

“I think this a good thing because it still feels like there is still so much to do… which is why I am excited for a new album and to be releasing it with Hopeless Records.”

The band are about to head off on the Warped Tour in the States, which will be followed by festival appearances at Sziget in Budapest, Open Air in Gampel and Lowlands in Biddinghuizen, among others.
