Stick To Your Guns aren’t fussed about accusations that A Day To Remember have borrowed their riff

A Day To Remember have just dropped a new track, ‘Paranoia’ – and people have been quick to point out similarities with Stick To Your Guns’ ‘What Choice Did You Give Us?’.

Not that the latter band mind too much.

“for real though,” they replied to a fan on Twitter, “no weird feelings or anything. We’re probably more than guilty of borrowing a Hatebreed trick or two.”

Check out both tracks below.

“You’re acting like there’s some mystery album floating out there in the ether and I’m telling you, there’s not,” the band’s Jeremy McKinnon told Zane Lowe upon first airing the new material.

“It’s one of those random things, we were just in the room, together, writing some music casually, for fun with no expectations. We’d been doing it for a few weeks, just kicking around some new ideas and Kevin just started playing this random riff and it just snowballed from there. We wrote it in one day.”
