Slipknot to take two year break?

Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor has suggested in a new interview that the band may take a two year break after they’ve finished promoting their new album, ‘.5: The Gray Chapter’ – the band’s first following the death of founding bassist Paul Gray in 2010 and the departure of long-time drummer Joey Jordison in 2013.

“I mean we’re gonna finish touring and then we’re gonna take a couple of years off again to, kind of, let everything chill,” he tells Rocksverige. “I’m gonna go do my thing, [and] everybody else’s gonna go kind of do their thing. I know Clown‘s got movies that he wants to make, which is very cool.”

Slipknot recently released a new video for their single, ‘Killpop’ – watch it here. They also headlined Download Festival earlier this month, and set to perform on the Summer’s Last Stand Tour in the US this July, with Lamb of God, Bullet For My Valentine and Motionless In White.
