Slaves cancel tonight’s Derby gig to work on new album

Slaves have cancelled a gig that was due to take place today (Thursday 28th April) so they can continue work on their second album, the follow up to last year’s debut, ‘Are You Satisfied?’.

“To everyone who got tickets to see us play at The Hairy Dog for the Dr Martens new store launch in Derby, we are incredibly sorry but we are having to postpone until the 12th May,” the duo explain on Facebook.

“We have nearly got album two done but need an extra week to finish it. Thanks for your patience. Promise to play some new songs and some really old ones too!”

Slaves recently teamed up with Chase & Status for new track ‘Control‘ – check it out below. It appears on the latter band’s upcoming new album.
