Rolo Tomassi to release ‘The BBC Sessions’ this May

Rolo Tomassi will release ‘The BBC Sessions’ this spring, an album that’s been over three years in the works, and that follows on from their recent album ‘Grievances’.

The release is due on 27th May, and coincides with the tenth anniversary celebrations of their new-ish label, Holy Roar. It’ll be available on 10”, CD and digitally.

‘The BBC Sessions’ features songs taken from the Radio 1 Rock Show, presented by Daniel P Carter, recorded early 2013, as well as a session recorded for Huw Stephens in 2008.

All nine tracks were recorded live and mixed at BBC Maida Vale studios. The track listing is as follows:

1. Howl
2. Old Mystics
3. Empiresk
4. Illuminare
5. I Love Turbulence
6. Digital History
7. Fuck The Pleasantries Let’s Rock
8. Beatrotter
9. Film Noir
