PVRIS to perform on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Your Band Of 2015, PVRIS, are gearing up to have an even bigger 2016 and they’re coming out swinging.

On Tuesday January 5th the band will be performing on US telly institution Jimmy Kimmel Live! which is a Big Deal so set your VCRS. Axl Rose is reportedly set to address those Guns N’ Roses rumours during the same show.

Perhaps even bigger news though is that Blake Harnage, the producer behind ‘White Noise‘ and other upcoming ‘things’, will be joining PVRIS on keys for their performance.

The performance comes ahead of a US tour supporting Fall Out Boy before PVRIS head over to Europe and the UK for a headline run. There’s also talk of a deluxe edition of ‘White Noise’ at some point, which will be great.

PVRIS are on the cover of the latest issue of Upset Magazine where Lynn explains, “the coolest thing about music is that you can create your own world, in your own imagery, through sound. You can literally paint a picture with sound. I like how everyone’s perception of it is different. In a way, I always picture a place, colours or certain actions. They’re things I wouldn’t be able to draw so I always have some sort of atmosphere, vibe or place in my head, then I try and make that through sound. The best thing about this style of music, with electronics and programming, is that you can really create a vision that’s not restricted to three or four instruments. You can literally make any sound you want. You can create any atmosphere you want. The possibilities are endless.”

You can read the whole feature, alongside some incredible photography by San Sam Roman, here or just dive in and read the entire magazine, which includes chats with Fall Out Boy, Wolf Alice The Wonder Years and loads more, right here.
