I Prevail suffer tour bus fire: “Everyone’s safe. Our belongings… Not so much”

I Prevail have suffered a fire on their tour bus, while on the way to play a show in Fresno, California, with Pierce The Veil and Neck Deep earlier this week.

Initial news came through via Instagram (below), with the band posting pictures of the fire and reassuring fans that while they lost a lot of belongings, everyone’s safe.

“A lot of people have been asking us what happened to the bus yesterday and how they can help,” the band added in a later statement. “Well, unfortunately our bus engine caught fire while driving down the freeway outside of Fresno, California.

“Luckily, our driver was able to pull over and we we’re able to get out before the flames started to hit the bunks. However, a lot of our personal belongings didn’t fare so well. Basically, everything we had is gone.

“For anyone who wants to help, the best way you can support us is by picking up our new album ‘Lifelines’ via a bundle or digitally. It comes out this Friday. Thank you for all of your support throughout this. You make this journey better everyday, even through the bumps in the road. Love you guys.”

I Prevail recently signed to Fearless Records for the release of their debut album; their first full-length will be titled ‘Lifelines’ and is set for release on 21st October.

We woke up to our bus catching on fire this morning. Everyone's safe. Our belongings… Not so much.
