Paramore meets Adele as Captain Cuts drop their first mixtape

Captain Cuts, the stage name of Ben Berger, Ryan McMahon and Ryan Rabin, have just released their first mixtape and (brace yourself) it’s a emo megamix.

Justin Bieber meets Fall Out Boy, Sum 41 vs Mark Ronson vs Taking Back Sunday, My Chemical Romance x Fetty Wap and that’s only the beginning. Jimmy Eat World, Paramore, Brand New, AFI, Say Anything and the All American Rejects all feature on the half hour of power. You can listen to ‘If You’re Listening, It’s Never Too Late‘ below and download the entire mix plus individual tracks here.

Be careful, you might not listen to anything ever again.

Ben Berger, Ryan McMahon and Ryan Rabin write and produce for the likes of Hasley, Walk The Moon and Tegan & Sara by day but by night Captain Cuts DJ at Taking Back Tuesday, a LA Emo Night that’s popular with Mark Hoppus and All Time Low.

Speaking to Rolling Stone Ben explains, “”People who were teenagers at the time that this music took off are hitting a place where the nostalgia factor is really high. We were having so much fun making these and we felt that we would be bummed not letting everybody else have them and have the same nostalgia feeling we have.”
