New Tonight Alive songs have had a “passionate” response, says Jenna McDougall

Tonight Alive will release their third studio album ‘Limitless’ on 4th March, and have already previewed a handful of tracks – including ‘Human Interaction’, ‘To Be Free’, ‘Drive’ and ‘How Does It Feel’.

“It’s been a passionate response,” says vocalist Jenna McDougall, of fans reactions so far. “And I say that because of course it has been quite mixed, but that’s exciting to us and I think it means we’re doing something right.

“The point we made when we were making this record was to do it on our terms; and when you start making decisions based on your happiness and your standards and not those of others, not everyone will be satisfied.

“But with our age and experience we’re far more inspired by risk and intuition in music and we totally stand by everything we did. Having said that, with only four songs out I think the record is going to make a lot more sense as a whole!”

This month’s mag is fronted by one of our favourite acts (isn’t that always the case?), Panic! At The Disco. Elsewhere we’ve got interviews with Josh Farro, All Time Low, Enter Shikari, Bury Tomorrow, Yuck, SWMRS and loads more.

Plus, Creeper’s Will Gould takes us inside new EP ‘The Stranger’.

Interview: Ali Shutler.
