Muskets, Muncie Girls and Hindsights for charity all dayer

This Thing Of Ours are putting on a not-for-profit all dayer at Kingston’s The Cricketers and the lineup is ridiculously good.

Headlined by Muncie Girls the event also sees the likes of Katie Malco, Pacer, The Attika State, Doe, Hindsights and Muskets, amongst others, all set to perform in aid of The DIY Space For London on August 22nd. Tickets are on sale now for the bargain price of £7.50 through Banquet Records. The complete lineup is below in the form of a handy poster and there’s also a Facebook event, if you’re that way inclined.

Seriously, how good is that lineup.

The DIY Space For London, for which all the proceeds will be going towards, is a community based charity working towards “building a home in London for ‘do-it-yourself’ culture. We’ve been fundraising since August 2012 and, with help of many donations, some small grants and benefit events, have raised close to £20,000. With the help of over 200 members, we have secured a brilliant space just off Old Kent Road, South East London, which we are now converting into an inclusive, accessible space for music, meetings and more.

We’ve now developed from a few people into a wide open network with input from within and beyond London, with an organising group at its core that meets regularly that anyone is welcome to get involved with.

Run by the people who use it on a member’s club model, with everyone having equal say in how the place is run, it will be an inclusive and safe space.” For more information about The DIY Space For London or to get involved, click here.
