Mum knows best: Bring Me The Horizon’s new album coming in September?

If you want to know what’s going on, ask mother. She’ll know what’s going down. What is true in everyday life, remains true in music land. Anyone with a more indie leaning knows Arctic Monkeys’ drummer Matt Helders’ mum is a stone cold ledge for chucking out the odd exclusive. Marmozets’ family connection holds strong into the parental unit where social media is concerned too.

Now there’s a new source on the block – Carol Sykes, mum of Bring Me The Horizon’s Oli. If you go on the right places on Reddit, you won’t have to look too hard to see a link to our Carol’s Facebook. Dated 11th June, she basically confirms a new Bring Me single in July. We already know that bit is true. She also reveals the album will drop in September.

The post has since been deleted, but screen grabs are doing the rounds on Twitter.

If you’d have just made mates with Carol, you’d have known this was all coming a month ago. We love you Carol. Mums. First for music news.
