Against Me!’s Laura Jane Grace shares an extract from her memoir

Against Me!’s Laura Jane Grace has shared an extract from her upcoming memoir Tranny: Confessions of Punk Rock’s Most Infamous Anarchist Sellout, out on 15th November. It recounts a time she ended up in jail following a fight in a coffee shop prior to a show.

The extract begins:

“The tour bus was waiting for me in the parking lot of the Leon County Jail at 4 AM after I was processed, charged with battery, bonded out, and released on $500 bail. Radar, our bus driver on that run, gave me a kind nod and smile as I jumped onboard with a sigh.”
