Manchester Orchestra soundtrack a film where Paul Dano rides the farting corpse of Daniel Radcliffe like a Jet Ski

It’s the title The Internet’s been longing for AND (thanks to Swiss Army Man) it’s 100% true.

Manchester Orchestra‘s Andy Hull and Robert McDowell have written the soundtrack for the movie ‘Swiss Army Man‘. Currently screening at Sundance Film Festival the movie, described as “a must-see fart drama“, is about, “a man who’s stranded in the wilderness, he’s hopeless and then he discovers a dead body and they go on a journey together to get home. The body becomes his friend and his multi purpose tool.”

One such scene sees Paul Dano riding the farting corpse of Daniel Radcliffe like a jet ski across the ocean in a bid for freedom. Yup.

The film is written and directed by Daniel Scheinert & Daniel Kwan who explain that ‘Swiss Army Man’ is “a story about a suicidal man who must convince a dead body that life is worth living.” The pair previously worked with Manchester Orchestra on the video for ‘Simple Math‘, which you can see below (there are no flatulent boy wizards, though.)

No word on a release date for the film yet but we can’t wait and neither can the boys in Manchester Orchestra. “THE NEWS IS OUT! We scored the coolest and weirdest movie at Sundance. I can’t wait for everybody to see this movie,” the band write on their Facebook page before adding, “So proud of this movie. Can’t wait to release the sound track!” Meanwhile, on Twitter.
