In the lead up to the release of his new solo album ‘Walkways’, ex-Paramore guitarist Josh Farro has denied he’d return to his former band, which he left in 2010.
“The thought has crossed my mind before,” he tells NME, “but I don’t think so. It would be interesting to ever be asked to rejoin the band but I don’t think it would ever happen, and I wouldn’t join again because I’m trying to focus on my career and I really believe in my music.”
The new interview seems to contradict what he told AP late last year. “I would totally be up for [a reunion],” he said in November, “but I don’t want to rush anything. I don’t know if I see it [in the future], but I definitely hope for it.”
Farro’s solo debut, ‘Walkways’ will be released on 5th February, featuring recent single ‘Cliffs’. “The album represents the journey I’ve been on for the last couple of years from a musical and personal standpoint,” he says of the release.
“It encompasses songs about love, courage and heartache. I feel that this album is the stepping stone to the start of a new chapter.”
