When Dave Grohl broke his leg in Gothenburg, Sweden back in June and was forced to cancel Glastonbury, a myriad of European dates and put UK shows on hold, everyone in the rock world thought that the world was coming to an end.
But in true Grohl style he designed his own customised Iron Throne style chair with a huge ‘FF’ logo on the back, his own personal light show, countless guitar heads and a nice cushion for him to lay his poorly leg on.
Since then he’s been playing shows from his throne and he’s not sure if he’s ready to give it up. Speaking to the Hollywood Reporter, he said, “It’s become the star of the show. It has a drink holder. Do I stop using it when I can just stand there? Or do I stop using it when I can jump and run around like I used to or I do I keep it for fucking ever?”
So it remains to be seen whether or not the throne will make it to the Foo Fighter’s UK shows in September. He’s just too fond of the cup holder.
See Foos play this September:

8 – Murrayfield Stadium w/ Royal Blood
