Funeral For A Friend upgrade Glasgow dates on farewell tour

Funeral For A Friend have upgraded the venue for the two Glasgow dates on their spring 2016 farewell tour, swapping out the Garage for O2 ABC. The run of dates will see the band perform their album ‘Hours’ one night, followed ‘Casually Dressed And Deep In Conversation’ the next.

“I guess the main reason behind it is time,” lead vocalist Matthew Davies-Kreye says of the split in the new issue of Upset. “Fourteen and a half years is way longer than any of us considered this band would exist for, and to have pretty much ticked off all the ‘musical bucket list’ options we had was good.

“We made a record that we loved and we felt that it marked a full stop for us, it was us coming full circle again and that really gave us a sense of closure so it felt like the right move.”
