‘Blossom‘, the debut album from Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, is unleashed on the world August 14th and to celebrate, the band will be playing their first proper London headline show a few days later.
Taking to the stage of The Borderline on August 18th, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes promise to, “Destroy everything.”
If the band survive, slots at the Reading & Leeds festivals await them.
‘Blossom’ follows on from the ‘Rotten’ EP and Frank Carter had this to say about the imminent album.
“I’ve been asked to write something here about this album. I could rattle off some cliche adjectives about how good the album is, or I could choose not to patronise you.
This is the album:
I had one of the hardest, most turbulent years of my life in 2014. I wrote it all down, a line here a paragraph there and soon I had a book full of suffering and questions. In the winter I decided that I needed an outlet to help me take these lyrics and do with them what I do best. Perform.
The product of our sweat and blood is BLOSSOM. A ten track record that I believe is my best work, both lyrically and musically. And the album that best defines me. As a singer, a performer, an artist and a person.
I hope this record helps you.
Long live the rattlesnakes.”
Tickets for the launch gig go on sale this Wednesday (8th) at 10am and ‘Blossom’ is out August 14th.
