Foo Fighters play tiny Record Store Day show in Ohio shop

To celebrate yesterday’s Record Store Day, Foo Fighters played a special show at an Ohio record store. With frontman Dave Grohl acting as official ambassador for the 2015 event, the band played a nine-song set at Niles’ Record Connection, just a few miles from Grohl’s hometwon of Warren, Ohio.

Grohl arrived on motorbike, telling the 150 capacity crowd “I know we’re in a strip mall [but] let’s pretend this is a stadium!.”

Foo Fighters played:
‘White Limo’
‘The Pretender’
‘Learn to Fly’
‘My Hero’
‘Big Me’
‘Alone + Easy Target’
‘Kids in America’

The band released a special four track vinyl EP ‘Songs From The Laundry Room’ to celebrate Record Store Day, featuring early versions of ‘Alone + Easy Target’ and ‘Big Me’, unreleased track ‘Empty Handed’ (check that out below) and a cover of Kim Wilde’s ‘Kids In America’.
