Downers announce new EP and release show

Downers – the new band from Bobby Pook (Me Vs Hero) – will release an EP called ‘Noose’ on 1st August through LocalColour Records. Pressed on traditional black vinyl, the three-track release will be limited to just 100 copies.

“We’ve had this record finished for a few months now so we’re absolutely psyched that it’s getting a physical release,” says Pool. “We can’t wait for people to hear it. We’re super proud of the vibe we’ve created on the record and we hope people love it as much as we do.”

Produced by Bob Cooper (NightHarvest / Deathwish Inc.), ‘Noose’ is the follow up to Downers’ self-produced ‘self titled’ debut EP, released May 2015.

The band will play a special release show in-store at Action Records, Preston on the 8th August, following their appearance at Tramlines Festival, Sheffield this weekend (24th July).
