The Dillinger Escape Plan announce new album and “extended hiatus”

The Dillinger Escape Plan have announced details of their new album, and an “extended hiatus” that will follow its release. ’Dissociation’ – billed as their most adventurous album to date – is due on 14th October through the band’s Party Smasher Inc. label and Cooking Vinyl.

Check out lead single ‘Limerent Death’ below. “[It’s] one of my all-time favorite DEP songs,” says guitarist Ben Weinman. “I feel that this song is one of the rare instances where all the members are feeling, and conveying, the same energy from start to end. A sharp focused dagger plowing its way through thick heavy walls.”

Before the release, the band will play Reading & Leeds at the end of the month, alongside headliners Foals, Disclosure, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Fall Out Boy and Biffy Clyro.

The album’s track listing is as follows:

Limerent Death
Symptom Of Terminal Illness
Wanting Not So Much As To
Low Feels Blvd
Manufacturing Discontent
Apologies Not Included
Nothing To Forget
