Creeper to reveal #TheStranger later this week

Creeper, the band you lot voted as The Band Guaranteed to Make 2016 10/10 Amazing, are up to something.

Teasing an announcement for 16th December 2015 alongside the hashtag #TheStranger, the band are certainly keeping things exciting.

Creeper let slip that they’ve been working on a new EP, a sequel to very good The Callous Heart, during their very good session for the Radio 1 Rock Show.

Speaking to Daniel P. Carter vocalist Will Gould explained, ““It carries on the story and introduces a new character into that world that we’ve just made. The new character is called The Stranger. He represents, if The Lost Boys were The Callous Heart in our first record, this next record, The Stranger represents the crocodile who swallows the clock and he has that clock inside him.

“It’s time running out and it’s a million different things. We tried to make him as visually striking and as terrifying as we can because he represents all the things we fear the most. That’s what this new record is about. It’s the opposite of our first record but at the same time, it’s intrinsically linked.”

Creeper are kickstarting 2016 with some really big tours. They’re supporting Neck Deep and State Champs* around the UK and Europe with their first ever headline tour^ sandwiched in the middle. All the dates are below.
