Cloud Nothings and Wavves team up for collaborative album

They teased it last year, but now it’s real. Cloud Nothings’ Dylan Baldi and Wavves’ Nathan Williams’ are releasing an album together.

Baldi first teased the potential for a collaboration back in 2014, telling French mag Dum Dum he’d “talked for a while” with Williams about maybe making a record. “I should go to California to record some stuff,” he claimed at the time.

It appears just that happened – ‘No Life For Me’ will be released later this year through Ghost Ramp Records, as confirmed via Wavves’ Instagram account.

Recorded between March 16th and March 24th 2014, all but one song is written by the pair (with one, ‘Such a Drag’ written by Williams alone). There’s appearances from Wavves members Stephen Pope and Brian Hill, as well as Vampire Weekend’s Rostam Batmanglij.
