My Chemical Romance to reissue ‘The Black Parade’ with extra stuff

Yesterday My Chemical Romance caused all sorts of fuss with a cryptic video and not much else.

We were all quick to jump to conclusions, from a full-blown reunion tour to a tour featuring all of their new projects. Basically, we were all excited to see the band live again. However, MCRX apparently won’t involve any live shows.

A source has told EW that My Chemical Romance will be reissuing their third album ‘The Black Parade ‘ alongside some previously unreleased demos to celebrate its tenth anniversary.

New (ish) music from the band is still a good reason to get excited.

We should have known the band were up to something tbh. Earlier this year Gerard Way shared his cover of The Carpenter‘s ‘Superstar‘ that was taken from The Black Parade sessions. Who knows what else they’ve been sat on.
