Bo Ningen: “We haven’t performed at Reading & Leeds before”

Bo Ningen are one of the many bands taking to the Lock Up Stage this weekend at Reading & Leeds Festival, on Friday (Reading) and Saturday (Leeds).

“We haven’t performed at Reading and Leeds before,” says guitarist Yuki Tsujii, “and it’s big in many ways. Audiences are different from our usual shows. We are excited to play.”

They may not know exactly what to expect, but they know who they’re looking forward to seeing: “Limp Bizkit obviously, haha.” They’ve also put a lot of thought into their set, suggesting: “Maybe we should play more noisy set, or just one long long song.”

As for their plans after the festival, they’ve “some festivals over the autumn coming up in UK and Europe such as Le Guess Who and Iceland Airwaves.

“And at the same time we’ve been working on a new album [the follow up to 2014’s ‘III’], writing new materials. Should be good.”

Reading Festival 2015 has now completely sold out, with the last few weekend tickets snapped up a few days ago. Tickets for Leeds Festival are still available.
