Basement have moved their upcoming London gig at O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire to KOKO, owing to ongoing work on the venue’s roof which won’t be complete until March.
“Due to structural issues with the 02 SBE, our show is now at KOKO Sat 13 Feb 2016. Original tickets will be valid,” the band explain on Twitter.
“So just to be super clear,” they added. “London show is no longer at 02 Shepherds Bush cos they got a dodgy roof. New venue is now KOKO on Sat 13th Feb.”
The new gig will take place the following day, Saturday 13th February.
Other bands who’ve been forced to cancel gigs at O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire include Mayday Parade, Villagers, Cage The Elephant, Walk The Moon, Jamie Woon, Battles and The Coral.
Hopefully the issues will be sorted by 1st April for Nothing But Thieves, and 7th April for PVRIS.
1/2 UPDATE Works to our roof will extend into March 2016. We are sorry as this means all events scheduled until 31.03.16 will be affected.
