Baroness stream the whole of their new album ‘Purple’

Baroness are releasing their fourth album ‘Purple‘ this Friday (18th December) via their own label, Abraxan Hymns. It’s their first album with bassist Nick Jost and drummer Sebastian Thomson and it’s incredible.

Following on from the tantalising release of ‘Chlorine & Wine‘, ‘Shock Me‘ and ‘Morningstar‘, Baroness have started a game of hide and seek to unveil the remaining tracks.

“Our new album Purple comes out on Friday but starting today, we’d like to share the entire album with the world,” write the band on their own website. “We’re premiering every song on different websites throughout the day. To find the songs, search for #FindPurple on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Tumblr. If you find one, share it!”

Now with this being The Internet, other people have done the work for you. Thanks to Nerdist, Noisey, Metal Injection, Drowned In Sound, Juxtapoz, Sterogum and Rolling Stone Australia, you can hear the entirity of ‘Purple’ below.

There’s an indepth chat with Baroness vocalists/guitarist John Baizley and Peter Adams in the December issue of Upset Magazine. Order one online, pick one up instores or read it in full here.
