Axl Rose is now officially the frontman of AC/DC

It’s official then. Axl Rose is the new frontman of AC/DC.

The legendary band were forced to reschedule tour dates after their vocalist Brian Johnson was told to stop touring on doctor’s orders. Reports followed that Rose was spotted in the same studio, leading to those rumours being confirmed.

An official statement from the band reads: “We are dedicated to fulfilling the remainder of our touring commitments to everyone that has supported us over the years, and are fortunate that Axl Rose has kindly offered his support to help us fulfill this commitment.”

Obviously that means Rose is going to have a busy year, with Guns N’ Roses classic line-up back together and playing live.

It also means he’ll be hitting Europe next month, with UK dates in London and Manchester with AC/DC this June.
