Boston, Massachusetts quartet Tansit have announced they’re to split after ten years together, following their spring tour dates.
The group released five albums in total: 2008’s ‘This Will Not Define Us’, 2010’s ‘Keep This to Yourself’, 2011’s ‘Listen & Forgive’, 2013’s ’Young New England’ and 2014’s ‘Joyride’.
“After ten years of writing, recording, and living on the road, it is time for us to close this current chapter on Transit, as we have decided to direct our energy into other aspects of our lives,” they explain on Facebook.

The band’s April tour will run from 21st – 26th, and see them performing “an array of mixed songs from over the years at our final shows as a band. We have chosen some of our favorite intimate clubs to put this to rest at.”
